Allah Rakha Rahman (Tamil: அல்லா ரக்கா ரஹ்மான்; born 6 January 1966 as A. S. Dileep Kumar) is an Indian film composer, record producer, musician and singer. His film scoring career began in the early 1990s. He has won fourteen Filmfare Awards, eleven Filmfare Awards South, four National Film Awards, two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe.
Rahman obtained a degree in western classical music from the Trinity College of Music in London, and set up his own in-house studio called Panchathan Record Inn at Chennai, arguably one of Asia’s most sophisticated and high-tech studios. Later by working in India's various film industries, international cinema and theatre, by 2004, Rahman, in a career spanning nearly two decades, had sold more than 150 million records of his film scores and soundtracks worldwide, and sold over 200 million cassettes, making him one of the world's all-time top selling recording artists. He was described as "India's most prominent movie songwriter" by Time magazine in 2005.
His works are notable for integrating eastern classical music with electronic music sounds, new technology and traditional orchestral arrangements. Time magazine has referred to him as the "Mozart of Madras" and several Tamil commentators have coined him the nickname Isai Puyal (Tamil: இசைப் புயல்; English: Music Storm).In 2009, Time magazine placed Rahman in its list of World's Most Influential People.

Early life

Harris Jayaraj was born to a pious Christian Nadar family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu He studied at the Krishnasamy Matric School, Chennai. His father, S. M. Jayakumar, was a film guitarist who later became a noted musician and Chennai film composer. His father was an assistant to Malayalam music director Shyam and he hoped to make his child Harris a great singer. But Harris' interest was in film music and he once confessed that he couldn't sing well. Harris Jayaraj was an early admirer of the work of Hans Zimmer.

Career

Harris Jayaraj entered the world of film music as a musician, programming scores and drum-percussion for films under the Indian music director A. R. Rahman. Harris had been the first person to receive the title of Top Mark Scorer in Asia from Trinity College of Music. Harris began his career as a keyboardist for several music directors over twelve years including Rahman, Mani Sharma, Vidyasagar, Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Sirpi, in addition to composing beats for TV advertisements.
His first film project was Minnale. The music he scored was well received, particularly the song "Vaseegara", which was in the charts for weeks. Next, he composed music for the Tamil films 12B and Majunu, which met with high acclaim. His Minnale score was later used in the Hindi version, titled Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Harris's collaborations with director Gautham Menon have been widely acclaimed, both of them being very successful in Tamil film industry. They have worked together in a series of hit movies like Minnale (2001), Kaaka Kaaka (2003), Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu (2006), Pachaikili Muthucharam (2007) and Varanam Aayiram (2008) He's a great musician. and a Great music composer

Yuvan Shankar Raja (Tamil: யுவன் சங்கர் ராஜா ; born 31 August 1979) is an Indian Tamil film score and soundtrack composer, singer and occasional lyricist. He has predominantly scored music for Tamil as well as Telugu films. In 1996, at age 16, his musical career began as he composed the film score for Aravindhan. He subsequently composed film scores for a variety of South Indian films, which include commercial blockbusters such as Dheena, Manmadhan, Paruthiveeran, Billa, Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Paiyaa as well as acclaimed films such as Nandha, Kaadhal Kondein, 7G Rainbow Colony, Raam, Pudhupettai and Kattradhu Thamizh
Within a span of 13 years, Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored for over 75 films. Considered a highly versatile composer, he often strives for different, innovative and stylistic music and has explored and used elements of various genres in his compositions that range from folk to heavy metal. He is particularly known for his use of western music elements in his pieces and often credited with having introduced Hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry and having started the "era of remixes" in Tamil Nadu. Early life and career

He was born in Vedurupaka and later moved to Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His father was a school teacher and a writer. He completed his schooling at Sir M. Venkata Subba Rao Boys High School, T. Nagar, Chennai. He won several prizes in the culturals organised at inter-school level for both dance and singing competitions.
His debut music album Dance Party, along with S. P. B. Charan and a few more debutants at the time, was the kick start of his music career. He began his musical-direction career in 1999 in the Telugu film Devi. Devi Sri Prasad was a disciple of the renowned mandolinist, U. Srinivas, and he has directed music for dozens of South Indian films, including several box-office successes.
He has also written lyrics for a few songs in Telugu, which include "Vecha Vechaga" in Vamsi (starring Mahesh Babu and Namrata), "Premante Yemitante" in Anandam, "Chaila Chaila" in Shankar Dada MBBS, and "Udayinche Suryudinadigaa" and "Akaasam" in Kalusukovaalani.
Devi Sri Prasad is known to be a big fan of Ilaiyaraaja. He is also a great fan of A. R. Rahman and has provided backing vocals for the song Kullu Pudithe from Villain by Rahman. He has a younger brother named Sagar who is also a playback singer.

Career

Prakash's introduction as a film composer was in the critically acclaimed Tamil film Veyil, directed by Vasantha Balan and produced by the director S. Shankar.
He first appeared as a vocalist on the soundtrack of director S. Shankar's Tamil film Gentleman, composed by his maternal uncle, A. R. Rahman. He has also contributed to some of Rahman's other projects. He had also worked with Harris Jayaraj and sang two songs in Anniyan and Unnale Unnale.

Early life and career

Anirudh was born in june 1990 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is the son of actor Ravi Raghavendra. His mother Lakshmi is a dancer. Anirudh was a part of a band in school called Zinx. As a kid, he knew composing music is all hed Circuit while in college. He graduated from Loyola College, Chennai in 2011, which according to him was just a back up in case his music career did not take off. Anirudh learnt classical piano from Trinity College of Music, London. He also learnt Carnatic music, and was part of a Carnatic fusion band
